Recently I amazed myself by discovering the joy of flower photography. I think this may be the closest I will ever come to the so admired great masters of times long gone. Not because I think I will ever get near the level of Rembrandt or Vermeer, but close in the sense of seeing they same kind of light as they did, working with similar shadows as they did.

I will return to photographing flowers from time to time and add some of the results on this page. This page will never be done, and changing from time to time. So feel free to scroll down every time you get here to see what beautiful specimen has joined our colourful garden.
